SAMR Model
In today's society, technology has had many benefits within the classroom and amongst students. Instruction can be enhanced in the classroom with the use of technology. Technology is a useful tool when used effectively. The SAMR model is easy and the framework is important to help enhance that learning. SAMR consists of 4 components to improve the use of computer technology to enhance learning. The components are: Substitution - Computer technology is used to perform the same task as was done before the use of computers. An example is work printed from a computer for students to complete. There is no real connection a student can make to the use of technology. They complete the work and submit it. Augmentation - Computer Technology offers an effective tool to perform common tasks.
